After receiving the final receipt from the authorities, the party elected 6 women to its politburo which consists of 35 members. The new configuration of the politburo included several new faces coming from other political formations other than the dissolved Al Ahd party.
The new party demanded many constitutional reforms such as including regionalization in the constitution, tackling issues of identity and reinforcing the role of the parliament in the legislative arena and limiting the government stronghold over it.
